Thanks, I don't think I can get more on census with the '100' yr closure, as Thomas Burns was in 1901 census on IOM and got married in Liverpool 1910.

I have a number and street address for Toxteth Park off my husbands father's BCertificate, which is why the link is great.

I am very happy to buy books etc, just need to know what I am buying and what would be the most appropriate as we live in Australia.
