Thanks for that information on Toxteth Park. I had wondered why my husbands grandfather left the island and family to live there.

Papers we have say he worked on a ship called 'River Tigrus' (or maybe he went there to do that).

It now gives more body to our research for the family. Do you have more information on Toxteth Park and the community?
