The information for my Great Grandmother is Eva Carkin 1899, Bucklow, Cheshire. Her two sisters, Annie Carkin 1902, Stockport and Gertrude Carkin 1904, Stockport. Do not have parents name yet(birth certificate on order). The story that has been passed down the family(from my Grandfather) is that the Carkins were originally Quakers from the Isle of Man. And just recently was told by my Uncle that they did change their name. Thanks for everyones help so far.
