There is a Thomas Looney from Maughold 1815, son of Christopher, who married Margaret Shimmin.

They had a son Thomas Shimmin and another called Christopher. There was a daughter Eleanor who died at 9mths in 1844. Margaret died 1843.

Thomas, the father, remarried to Mary Kelly and the family can be seen in Lonan in 1851.

The hand me down names and the gap of 4 years between Christopher and Eleanor is curious.
