Sorry to jump in here, but I think it's supposed to read 'Kerroo Garroo', or sometimes 'Kerrow Garrow' - which is in Andreas. I guess it meant that Thomas Radcliffe came from, or lived at, Kerroo Garroo.

I could be completely wrong of course!
