All very interesting and plenty of bones to pick over. I am currently trying to find where I found the information that Esther Leece is Henry juniors mother - I cannot find the print out so I am racking my brains.

I also seem to recall reading somewhere that Mothers of children born out of wedlock were required to appear before an official and name the childs father. They were then given a pennance. Will try to find where I read that - and see if that leads anywhere as you can guess I am not the best organised person.

Have also found out that Esther Leece had brothers and sisters.
