Bit of info here, that I have never been able to tie in with anything, and it may just well be your line too :(

An Esther Leece married a Henry Sheard on 25/06/1881. He was born c1854 and was a fisherman.

On the 1881 census, Esther Leece is at 4 Shore rd, Peel. Also at that address is a Henry Sheard aged 1. Possible child out of wedlock!
There are 2 Henry Sheards on the 1881 as being born c1854, one at 2 jib Lane, born Peel, occupation fisherman. The other c1854 on 'ellie' 60, doesn't say where born, but is a fisherman at Kinsale Mackerel.
It could be possible that Henry and Esther had a son William L. I would dearly love to find out where this family may fit in with my research, if they do!
