Hello Mary, as I said to Donna it is a very long story, thanks for the information you gave here. I will try and keep it brief as possible, it seems Nicholas Walkington was married twice.
I have a Nicholas who died 1824 and was married to a Margaret Corlett date unknown at present who had a daughter Ann chr 7 April 1775 @ K.Malew. Ann Walkington married William Kneen 11 Febraury 1800 @ K. Braddan.
William and Ann had a son Thomas Kneen chr approx 1801 this is where it gets interesting, I am trying to prove this mentioned Thomas Kneen is related to my tree. He died 1852, buried in K.Braddan no Mi info. He was a Master Baker in Sand St (Strand ) Douglas AND he was imprisoned in Castle Rushen for stealing a feather mattress, I have all the documents ,wow they knew how to hand out punishment in those days.
