Hi - No I don't think you can just walk into the church and ask, nor do I know whether the old registers are still there or whether they have since been deposited at the Manx Museum. Either way, these days I think you would be told to look at the filmed copy of the Maughold registers at the MM. Or you could go to the Gen Registry at Finch Rd Douglas and look at the death certificate. They used to hand over the volumes to view at the counter for a small fee, and these are far more informative than the burial record.
