Hi - You would need to look at the original Maughold parish registers to check this. These were still held at the church when Tom Corteen transcribed them, and sometimes differ from the early 1900s transcripts which are the ones on the LDS films.

You could also order the death cert which would have additional details, such as "son of", cause of death, name and address and relationship of the informant, as well as his address.
