Thanks Frances - I did look at him but found that he died the following year 1792 at Braddan. I haven't a clue where else to look? Any ideas greatly appreciated. Matthias did have a family Margaret b 11.02.1827, John b 18.07.1830, both born at Braddan then William 1832, Edward 1835, Thomas 1837, Catharine 1839 James my g grandfather 1842 born in Santon. Matthias' wife was Margaret Callister from Malew born approx 1800
