I hope someone will be able to point me in a worthwhile direction in my search for the surname KILLIP in Isle of Man. What I currently know is this:
Thomas J. Killip (b. 6 apr 1854 in Isle of Man; d. 21 nov 1941, Denver, Colorado, USA) immigrated to the United States and to Denver, Colorado sometime before 1882 when his first child was born. Thomas is my wife's maternal GGrandfather.
He married Elizabeth UNK (b. ca 1857 in England), but we don't know where. They had 9 children, all born in Colorado. Bessie Killip was my wife's grandmother.
Thomas' father is POSSIBLY James Killip, who married Sarah UNK (nothing else is known about either of them).
Any census data you can provide, or other families they may have married into, would be greatly appreciated. I have found connections so far to RADCLIFFE, CLEATOR, QUARK, and STEVENSON.
I assume the KILLIPs from Isle of Man are all related in some way, both past and present. Yes/No?
