The info I had for Eleanor Shimmin was she was born 17 Jun 1837; Elizabeth, JoDaviess Illinois.

John Henry Bawden, son of Charles Richard Bawden & Eleanor Shimmin married Louisa Watt - my 4th great grandparents daughter.

4th g-grandparents Robert Watts & Anne Moore, from Kirk Rushen Isle of Man
Robert Watt c 22 Oct 1817 Rusheb, son of David Watt (from Scotland) & Jane Qualtrough

Anne Moore c09 Jan 1821 Patrick; daughter of Anne Shimmin & Thomas Moore, both of Patrick

The info for age and year of death matches with the IGI christening record for a Thomas Shimmin c 23 Nov 1793 as son of Phillip Shimmin & Catherine Quine. Am wondering if possible that this Thomas could be Anne Moore's Uncle. Her mother was Anne Shimmin who married Thomas Moore. Yes Thomas Shimmin's wife Anne did later marry a Tom Holland.
