for the period 1849 to 1877 they are available on microfilm at Manx Museum (+ a copy at IOMFHS lib) -pre 1849 they are covered on Brian Lawsons site post 1877 they should be in Brian Lawson's civil births - there is a regular poster on this board who has done much work on these records
