I think my Robert Henry Gill must have been the one born 29.6.1882 in Andreas. Son of Daniel Gill & Isabella Kneale.

He may be the 19 year old Robert Gill from Jurby in the Census of 1901 who was on board a fishing boat 'Nautlius of Peel No26' at the time of the census, which would be why he doesn't appear to be living at Ballacain Cottage with his parents.

He may then be the Robert Gill who marries in 1907 a Jane Martin. His wifes name was Jane so this looks a strong candidate.

Anybody an expert on the Martins?
