In the 1891 census for Maughold, Thomas Moore (1846-1925), his wife Jane (Dougherty) and their children are living at Ballure in the household of Hugh Kneale. Thomas is listed as the brother in law and Jane as the sister of Hugh. I can find no link between these supposed siblings - Jane was the daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Dougherty and Hugh was the son of Edmond and Esther Kneale so does anyone have any insight into the sibling connection? Thanks.
