My Great Grandfather is on the 1891 census as a Butler at Ravensdale (Ravensdale House?).
His name is Levi Houghton
The head of the household is Rosina Alexanda - Housekeeper.
Can anyone tell me anything more about the property, location... anything at all really to help me build a picture of his life at that time.
Shortly after the 1891 census, I believe he married a lady called Christian and they had a son called John. (I cannot access any IOM BMD so I cannot verify this)
