Seeking information of my GGGrandmother Jane Cowle/Quayle, with her husband John Quayle and sister Mary A Cowle they were charged with theft in 1820, stealing 14/- worth of lace etc, he got acquitted and the two girls sent to the Colonies Australia for 7 years in 1823! Jane left behind a daughter Elizabeth about 2, and took a son William with her listed as 6 mths on records but no info after that. Jane married later to John Ford and became my GGGGrandparents.
Is the John Quayle mentioned in Isle of Man notes re Thomas Kelly to Ohio the same? Anything would be appreciated.
