Barbara, this caught my eye because I remember a series of notes on Gellings from Barrow-in-Furness from awhile ago. Sure enough, if you look up "Barrow" using the search engine provided on this site, you'll find some notes that could be related. Take a look. There's even one from me (hurray, I still have some memory cells left!). I'm not related to these Gellings though. Mine are from Lonan.
