I know I have Manx ancestry, but I don't know anything about who came from there or when. My family (the last three generations, anyway) are from the Victoria area of Vancouver Island. My grandfather was Charles, and my father is James. Unfortunately I have very little contact with my famity, particularly my father, due to his inability to face up to the fact that his eldest son, me, is a gay man.
