Subject Shimmin

Hi,

I am searching surname Shimmin.
My ggg-grandmother Ann Moore married to Robert Watt(s) came to USA in 1844, from Isle of Man, settled in Illinois. Her mother was Anne Shimmin married to Thomas Moore.

I also came across another Shimmin from a distant relative Thomas Shimmin married to a Ann Kinsman from Isle of Man, daughter Eleanor born in Illinois 17 Jun 1837.

Am wondering if your Shimmin has any connection to either of these families.
