I also know from experience it appears as if people ignore you on forums but it's not becuase they do so deliberately it's just becuase the very nature of these types of forums is that people will add a comment if they feel they have something to add. It's not a "chat" channel so more often than not you wont get a dialogue going. I know it's frustrating, I've posted queries on this and other forums trying to get info and sometimes if someone knows something to add they will, but many times no one does and so it appears as if no-one is paying attenton. In the case of this forum it appears to be that many people using it may be researching the IOM and asking questions because they and their immediate families have never lived or visited the Island and thus are hoping to gather info from others.
