Not sure if you still need info but I have now been able to locate info re this marriage. It is indeed Violet Dumphey (born 1880 Cronkbourne) and the info re the Dumpheys given in these threads is correct. Violet married one John William Callow 20 Dec 1900. In the 1901 census Violet is given living at home with her parents whilst John was onboard the steamer "Prince of Wales" employed as a fireman. Violet died less than a month after Benjamin's birth.
