According to research by Pricilla Lethwaite, a genealogist my sister in law contacted, it seems that Edward Stalker, s/o Thomas Stalker & Catherine Lord, married Elinor Christian 1846 at Andread church, but she must have died within a couple of years, because he married Jane Kneale on Nov. 19, 1849. They had a son Henry Robert baptized in 1850 at Maughold, but were gone from the island by 1851. Edward & Jane were in Lincoln, Union Iowa by 1870 Census
