Hello John
The Killips are in my line through Ann Killip (b. 1796 ) married to John Skillicorn, her father,William Killip ( b. 1767 ) then to his father Patrick Killip (b.1718 ) who married Jane Kermode. It was their son Patrick ( b. c. 1748 )that married Margaret Creer (b.c.1766,in Lonan )Patrick and Margaret had 8 children.
The other Margaret Creer (b.c.1712, in Malew )married Thomas Killip in 1733. They had 4 children(that I have found ) one-William, ( b 1751 )married Esther Cross
All of this info is from various sites incl.Latter Day Saints,IGI,Rootsweb and family sites on net.I know dates are not always reliable but I have limited resources and rely on help from people like yourself. I usually estimate an age by allowing for the spouse to be at least 20 yrs old at marriage and work from there. It takes time but with the help of sites like this I have added a large amount of Manx names to my family and am constantly amazed at the diversity of names for such a small island.
Thanks again for any help given.
Jean
