have you tried accessing via the government web site - as I think they changed email addresses some time ago.
Your reproduced email to MNH didn't explicitly ask re photographic copies - I would have understood you were asking for transcriptions - obviously any researcher will have to obtain photos - apart from a very few exceptions this so far (unless the library has relaxed its policy) has required the services of the library's professional photographer which do not come cheap (and also at present there is a severe delay involved) - you can get printouts from the microfilms but to be honest you would be better to get your own from the same mormon microfilms as the old library set were very badly scratched and no doubt by now the new set will also be seeing signs of wear.
