Tony and Roy, Thanks for the comment on my home-page, I have checked my records and there are two Sophia Kneen's in my 1891 census . One was an inmate at the poor house , Douglas age 12 years,the other was a Sophia Jane Kneen head of household in 1881 and 1891 census's aged 39 and 49 respectivily. children listed two dau, and two sons.

I then checked my 1881 CD census for Sophia Hughes, three listed one in Glamorgan, one in Cheshire and the other in Hampshire. So are there any clues there at all?
