The Brown Cow Inn still exists alongside the main ("New") Castletown Road adjacent to Ballavale, in Santon. These days it is a private residence, occupied by one of the Manx judiciary and family. The road alongside still gets called "The Brown Cow" by locals - but it is now a fast section - one of the few bits of 3-lane highway on the IOM!
