Hello.

I am researching the family of Clara Kewley
born 1888 to William Kewley, mother ?

William Kewley born 1860 is listed in the 1901
census as the publican of the Brown Cow Inn
with wife Annie and stepdaughter Margaret.

Clara went on to marry my great uncle Abel
Sadler at Prestwich, Manchester while she was
serving as a nurse, he presumably wounded
in WW1 serving in the Household Cavalry.

Is anyone else researching this Kewley sept,
and can anyone tell me if the 'Brown Cow Inn'
still exists.
