I am wondering if you have had any luck in your search. In the threads listed on the bulletin board I haven't really seen much Cowell. I am of Cowell descent. My gr., gr. grandmother was Margaret Grace Ellis Cowell.She was born on Isle of Man (10/22/1862) as was my gr., gr. grandfather Henry Cowell(7/23/1856). I don't know for sure yet what areas or cities. Maybe this will help somehow?
