The Alex + Elizabeth are probably A Reid + Elizabeth Maddrell m. Braddan 24 AUG 1879
(remember manx IGI goes upto c.1880) - however lack of christenings in igi may indicate that they are Presbyterian (many captains of IoMSPCo were - possibly influenced by Capt Macqueen) - these are on film in Manx Museum - those pre 1849 are on line (www.lawsons.ca) but note sure if the later ones are on Mormon microfilm

the death was actually 1922 (my apologies my copy of Manx quarterly was poorly scanned and I didn't spot the errors in misreading the dates - he is prob REID, Alexander age 79 buried Dbc (Douglas Borough Cem.) 19 Mar 1922 and his wife (MN says predeceased him by a few weeks) REID, Sarah Elizabeth age 65 Dbc 4 Dec 1921
there would have likely been a bigger write up in Manx press - this was final issue of Manx Quarterly and the MN's were somewhat scrappy
