Hi: I know there were a lot of Cubbons in the IOM.My great,great grandfather,William was born abt.1795 and married my gggrandmother, Jane Maxwell who was born in Onchan,IOM on 1819 in Liverpool. I have no idea of any information about William, but they had three children and one was my great grandmother Elizabeth Cubbon who married Samuel Brew in 1851. I just thought if your George had any link tol William.I think he was born in Kirk Michael. It would be great if they were relatives in the Cubbon family. Thanks,Helen
