Couldn't help noticing your message, I too have a William CORLETT b c1814 in Maughold. He married Margaret (GILL?). William is my ggg grandfather. They had several children, including Leonora Jane b c. 1849. Leonora married (18/8/1874 in Maughold parish church)Edward CHRISTIAN b c1850. About 1875 Edward and Leonora moved to Dalton, Lancashire.

My William is described as a labourer or roadman in census entries. Any connection?
