Goodness Brian, thank you so much... we have made great progress today for sure, certainly coming forwards to recent times.
The original curiosity of the Qualtrough connection still remains and that could be through the Faragher of mother Isabella who married James Kelly in 1834 in Malew. OR through the Collister side, but which Collister!!... And I am still curious as to why Aaron was baptised in Lonan at the age of 14 as Kelly and his mother given as Elizabeth. & not Isabella (I do realise that this was another interchangeable name, but she is Isabella in all other records so far)....
And why was she widow Kelly in 1861, 71, 81 ... perhaps she never married Collister and Thomas H (bn c1853) & Aaron (b c1857) were illegitimate.
Looking at your burials for James Kelly's death, there are too many possibles in the late 1840s/early 1850s to be sure which one.
Still heaps of sorting....
