Jane, this is interesting for me because I also have a Judith Quayle in my ancestry. Mine was baptized Joney QUAYLE 1774 in Kirk Michael to David QUAYLE (1737-1815) and Joney (Judy) CANNELL (1738-1819). Judith married Charles KEWLEY in 1798 at Braddan and their daughter Catharine b 1810 eventually married my g-g-grandfather William GELLING. They had moved in Liverpool by 1834.

However, I don't have a Philip Quayle that could match to your Philip. I'm sending this because it may help your process of elimination, or be useful in some other way.
