Some of these glitches are very annoying,

We get it for nought.

Speaking from experience, it takes a lot of time and effort to maintain a web site.
It either has to be paid for or you find some volunteers.

It would seem that originally someone had ambitious plans for the bulletin boards that have not materialized. As a result several sections have fallen into disarray.

Regretable as it may be, I believe that sections that can not be maintained (for whatever reason) should be discontinued as was done with the separate FHS board.

Comments regarding the attitude of the Isle of Man members to the internet will get us no where. Maybe they are smart in not taking on an activity that will require more volunteer help.
