I've never heard of a place called "Corrin's castle" on the Island - there are two castles Castle Rushen in Castletown and Peel Castle - there is a 19th Century Corrin's Folly (or tower) on Peel Hill.

according to A W Moore CORRIN and CORRAN, contracted from Mac Odhrain (contracted Oran,) 'Odhran's son,' (Odar, pale faced.') St. Patrick's charioteer was called ST. ODHRAN. and the name Corrin appeared in very early records (1504 for Corrin even earlier for Mac Corrane)
