The "Christiana"

I wonder if anyone has anything on this Schooner please ?

I have very little as yet except the following:-
Christiana 1890 (21993) Master Corenlius Skelly.
Christiana 1891 (21993) Master Cornelius Skelly.

On Dec 2nd 1891 the schooner sailed from Peel carrying a cargo of grain and Turnips, wind bound. (not sure of the meaning?)
Dec 14 travelled to Liverpool, with the same cargo.

Tracing ships is all new to me, so forgive anything that I should have included, but I am still hoping to find GG uncle Cornelius in the 1891 census, he is not on land in England, Wales or IOM and I am assuming that that he was at sea, as I have not as yet found the "Christiana" in the 1891 census.

The only other reference that I have to a ship of this name is in Thwaite's Directory 1863 which shows "TRADING VESSELS. To Glasgow, The Christiana and William, every three weeks; G. Torrance & Co., owners", I cannot be sure that this is even the same ship. It perhaps opens up Scottish possibilities for the 1891 census.

Any pointers would be wonderful, but I am now down to grasping at straws on this line.
