Paul – Sorry for the delay. Well, snap! My mother's side are all Manx too, though not all born on the Island. My father's side came from Wiltshire and Somerset – the male line from Market Lavington. Blanchett / Giddings Brown / Powell and Sainsbury are the Wiltshire names. I certainly recognise your names from the parish registers!
My mothers side were from Laxey and Douglas – their names were Clague / Skillicorn / Oswald and Quine.
