1960 for Crematorium - see www.manxnotebook.com/gazateer/gyards/do_cem.htm - Cremation was legally authorised in UK in 1902 (not sure when in IoM) but several records of cremation ashes from UK being transferred to Island before 1960 (see also www.manxnotebook.com/iomnhas/lm1p107.htm for some early background)
