Two stray Qualtroughs have been located with possible connections and at this point no parents.... hoping for help/assistance from some kind person in Ohio/Indiana area...

From 1910 US Federal census:

Ira Qualtrough: Census Microfilm T624, Roll 1286, Part 1, Page 160A (sheet 10A); Oregon, Multnomah County, City of Portland, 4th Ward, ED #152, recorded 15 October 1910: Ira was a white male, single, age 35, born in Indiana, father born in Iowa, mother born in Indiana. He was employed as a lineman for the telephone company and was recorded as a "lodger" in a large boarding house with other workers for the phone company and the railroad.

Being 35, this makes his year of birth c1875, Indiana. I query whether his father was born in Iowa, but perhaps more likely this was IOM??, with Iowa being a misinterpretation.

In doing my regular Google surfing, I found this morning the following:

Ronald Qualtrough, bn Cincinatti, Ohio, April 18, 1881 on a baseball website!! He was playing for the Kenwood Wildcats in the Walker League western division from 1901-1905. Being baseball ignorant, where are the Kenwood Wildcats/Walker League located? This league is involved in the Canada Cup, so perhaps it is in Canada.......

My thoughts are that perhaps Ira & Ronald are connected somehow, perhaps brothers, as Cincinatti is close to the Indiana border.....

What searchable birth records are available for 1881... perhaps a certificate may at least reveal Ronald's parents or are there any searchable birth records for Cincinatti which would reveal parents?.....also, if Ira and Ronald are siblings, perhaps Ira is in an 1880 Cincinatti census... under a variant spelling as he has not been located before no and most/all Qualtroughs for the US have been extracted from 1850 to 1930... or so I thought...!!

Any help/input re this problem most welcome.
