Yes, and thank you for the correction. It is a while since I looked at my records, and I had confused two stories. It was the Laurentic(1) that was between England and USA, with gold bullion, sunk of Lough Swilley. Included another Dougherty drowning.
I do have the newspaper report of the Albatross, and it is terribly sad reading. I am glad I went back to it because I noticed that I had missed the report by the Captain and also Messrs Knox, which had run off the page - so another trip to the Museum and the microfiche. At least I know what date I am looking for!
