Vonda - I just now am reading your year 2000 posting about the Archibald family from the Isle of Man.

My great-grandfather was John Archibald (1822-1868) who married Margaret "Maggie" Quirk in 1847 in Braddan, Isle of Man. The came to the United States in 1852 and settled in Carroll County, Missouri.

John had six brothers and sisters. I am trying to locate their decendents in preparation for a trip to the IOM. I don't know if we are somehow related or not?
