No this is not the same Thomas Bateman who was married to Susan Moore. That Thomas Bateman was born somewhere in England around 1867. He was a chef on the boats and came to Island and met my great-grandmother at a dance. His middle name was Hillery after his father who was a musician and the conductor of the Bradford symphony at some point in time. That is all we know.
