I am having the hardest time trying to find my ancestors. I know my great-great grandfather Thomas Bateman was born on the Isle of Man on March 7, 1879. His father was named Henry Bateman and I have not found anything on him either. I would really appreciate if anybody could give me any tips to try and start this search. I am not getting anywhere.
