My Half-2nd-Great-Grand Aunt was Jane Clague. She's listed in the 1881 and 1901 censuses as being born abt. 1845 in Castletown. She married my GG-Grandfather's half-brother, John Crellin Wood August 14, 1869 in Arbory. She was a confectioner - she and her daughters ran a shop together after John Crellin's death in 1887.
I'm wondering if she might be the daughter of Thomas Clague and Margaret Gell christened 19 JAN 1845 in Rushen.
John Crellin Wood, bef. March 1, 1943, Castletown
Jane Clague abt 1845, Castletown
Lillian Wood, abt 1872
Rosa Wood, abt 1874
John A Wood, abt 1875
William S Wood, abt 1879
Frank F Wood, abt 1881 (disappeared by 1901)
Does she look familiar? Or can anyone refute that she might be Thomas Clague and Margaret Gell's daughter? She would have been about 7 in 1851 and I assume she'd have been in Castletown.
Thanks!
Barbara
