UM duh!
I know where Kirk German is... sorry.
Would Holsal or Halsal be the more correct spelling for a last name in that area?
It is spelled differently on some of the records but it is obviously the same Anne.
I found all those IGI records Thanks again!
I have Ann's parents & christening in 1803 Kirk German & her marriage in Lezayre, 1825, to William born app 1795.
I guess my biggest problem now will be trying to figure out Wm's parents. Nowhere did I see mention of his parents on those records or in another search & there are a few, born in that year range & area that would fit.
Wm Radcliffe chr 6 Jan 1795, Bride
Wm chr 3 May 1795 Andreas
Wm chr 16 Aug 1795 Andreas
Wm chr 17 April 1796 Kirk German
and even possibly.....
Wm ch 1 March 1795 Arbory
(pretty south)
Wm chr 6 Nov 1796 Patrick
Wm ch 12 March 1797 Andreas
It's going to be quite the trick weeding them out with cross references to other wives names & those that were still on the Island after (mine crossed in) 1827.
If anyone knows anything that could disqualify any of these right off before I undertake this it would be very helpful!
Thanks again for all your help.
