can't add much except to note that name was not found on my admittedly small review of late 1820's emigration - see D:\IOM\Webpages\famhist\genealgy\mfests.htm
But two things stand out (a) he is Southside (Clucas is much more a Southside name as well)rather than Northside which is generally the norm for Ohio emigration at this period.
(b) If he went post 1826 (which is when major emigration started) then he would be in his 40's which is towards the old end (most other elderly emigrants were in extended groups)
