I'm lost, can anyone help please!

Dear All;
I am hoping someone can help me as I cannot locate my Gr.Grandmother for the last three years now.

Her name was Caroline Kermode. She was born in Liverpool June 6, 1896. In the Sub District of Mount Pleasant. Her Mother was Caroline (nee Potter) and her father was William Kermode. William was noted as being a plaster labourer at the time of his daughters birth. The family address is noted as being on Rice Street in Liverpool. Now things really get confusing.....

In the 1901 census there is only two Caroline Kermodes, these are not my family.

My Gr.Grandmother was teased about being a Manx. Why? I do not know as she wasn't born there as per her birth cert. I can only assume perhaps her father was. It is also noted on my Gr.Grandmothers certificate that a Catherine Kermode (sister) is present at the birth. I don't know whom she is. Is she a sister to my Gr.Grandmother, a sister to William or a sister to Caroline Sr.

I cannot locate a marriage for William Kermode and Caroline Potter. I can not locate them on the 1901 census. I would appreciate any help you may give me.

Sincerely;
Cas
