Accrington and District (think that is near Blackburn) formed a Manx Society c.1910 - one name I have is Mr.W. F. Cain
Sounds as if one of the expats was a builder and named his estate after the Island - quite often one Manx would employ other manx and at that time jobs on the Island were in short supply except for the summer season thus many manx moved to England to work from Sept thru to Easter
